The colors of Aspen foliage in Colorado are a fall delight. While hiking back from a day-hike over the Animas valley, I witnessed the sunlight dance across the mountain side almost as if it were choosing the spots to light, thus denying these icons of the dark shadows and illuminating them with the last light of the day.
