The ocean seems so mystical, enigmatic…esoteric to me as a born-and-raised Coloradoan. A storm was projected to roll in so I wandered to Virginia Beach to witness its awe. I battled the departing crowd as beach-goers clambered away from the impending storm and reveled in its beauty. This photo was captured as the sun fought to find its way through the clouds as they met the sea.
